Privacy Policies

There are 4 privacy areas to address.

CST – ( City Street Textiles )

We take privacy extremely seriously. We will never offer or sell your personal information for any reason whatsoever. Period.

Squarespace - ( Commerce Platform and CMS )

Squarespace does use cookies and does keep your email address active to be able to send you updates regarding your current order.  I personally do not use that data, and furthermore I have disabled the Activity Log, so customer’s IP addresses are not even kept in the system for the standard 7 days

If you decide to create a Customer Account, Squarespace will keep your information on file.  An account is not created by default; it is something you actually have to purposefully sign up for.  Creating an account basically allows you to view your Order History and helps you speed up future orders because your name/address is recognized. This is an optional perk, and not at all necessary for your order to be processed.

Paypal - ( Payment Platform Gateway Provider )

I do not have access to your financial information on file with Paypal.  https://www.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=xpt/Merchant/popup/WaxAboutPaypal-outside  I obviously trust Paypal’s security with my own information, as well as their commitment to securely handle transactions.

Mail Chimp - ( Marketing Platform for our Newsletter )

If you elect to sign up for the Newsletter, Mail Chimp will keep your information on file.  A Newsletter subscription is not turned on by default; it is something you physically have to click to do, as well as confirm your intention via an email.  They have made it very easy to unsubscribe at any time.
